How to work through Decision Overwhelm

Decision Overwhelm feels stifling.

Decision Overwhelm makes even the small choices hard.

Decision Overwhelm can make you irritable and distracted.

I know you’ve got some heavy life decisions to make. You wouldn’t be reading this otherwise.

How do you go about making those big decisions though?

One of the biggest things to help me just take action on “the big stuff” is the notion that

there is no right or wrong answer.

there is no “better” decision.

unless you’re deciding whether to murder your brother or steal from an old lady, then there’s possibly a right and a wrong.

But what I really mean by this is that even the WRONG decisions (if there ever were such a thing) leads us in the RIGHT direction. They take us where we needed to go.

And fuck, ANY direction is always more favourable than NO direction, and the feeling of being stuck and inactive. For me, personally, feeling stuck and inactive feels a lot like anxiety.

Ponder that one, gang.
